Regenerating a creature won't save it from bounce spells or exile effects, but it does provide a one-time reprieve from damage and destroy effects, and Swarmyard gives you one shot per turn cycle
Many of those alternate arts had a strong anime flair, so the lines between anime alt art and Japanese exclusive art can get blurry
And they are way, way better than anything you can print out yourself
The more aggressive your deck is and the lower your curve is, the fewer lands you need and vice versa
